From purely Apple to RKLB
2026-05-23T06:35:59+00:00
Ahead of a long weekend, I wanted to share some thoughts about my (as some will likely rate it) unusual approach to investing. Please keep in mind that I have no strings attached: no kids, no pets and a generally different sense of money’s value, so I can afford to be slightly aggressive in my sentiment. I’ve spent the last 5 years accumulating purely Apple and ignoring any noise. Never cared for Tesla, Nvidia, AI hype or anything else. About a month ago, I discovered RKLB. I went down the rabbit hole researching the company and as a result, over the course of the last month I sold ~$300k of Apple (40% of my portfolio), now averaging into RKLB at $106. That sounds bloody awful compared to fellow rocketeers who averaged at $4-8 per share a couple of years ago, but I have zero complaints. I entered at a phase when the company has already proved itself for long term growth, and I very much believe it's only the start. RKLB's vertical integration is second best in the current space market and what's more important, the management team is among the best in the entire public market. Rocket Lab isn’t just trying to survive another quarter, they are proactively expanding through acquisitions, infrastructure, manufacturing, defense and launch capacities. This matters a lot in the highly volatile market. And yeah, I understand the risks: Neutron delays, tank crack headlines, SpaceX potentially dominating the market, stocks taking a dump due to volatility while you’re "mirroring" it in the restroom after your morning cup of coffee. I think quite often people are trying to decide whether they believe in the company or just the stock price, while those are two very different things. Personally, I’m okay with sitting on my 3k shares while I continue slowly trimming Apple and pouring it into RKLB. Not because I don't believe in Apple, but because RKLB is likely going to be a major player way beyond space market over the course of the next 3-5 years. In Peter Beck we trust, in RKLB we invest. submitted by /u/Californ1fy [link] [comments]

Space and value regard
2026-05-22T19:37:40+00:00
Now I know the 1 year track looks deceptive but its just because the graph looked better I promise. I'm a college student that got a little too into stocks the past year. After this crazy week I thought I would share my lessons learned and progress since I'm fairly proud of it! I like to do a mix of degenerate pump and dump timing and actually not regarded value investments, though its rare to tell the difference. I started out intelligent, with ETF and big company stock investments, but I learned about companies like reddit, rocket lab, and gradually got more degenerate from there. I was getting into bullshit penny stocks like castellum and was sitting sideways at ~$3000 for months before I decided to sell to get into better stocks. Around the start of last summer I decided I was responsible enough to start messing with options, right around the time the big $OPEN craze happened. The first big jump is the money I made from the $OPEN shit, I sold just after my calls went from $20k to $14k, and I near shit myself. The 2nd jump was an insane run from a combo of $UNH, $RDDT $GOOG value plays, if I remember correctly. I was sitting at around $27,500 and decided to stop investing for a while. A week later I wanted to jump on another pump and dump, beyond meat. I thought it would play out like OPEN but needless to say it didn't work. I was down to about $19k. After that I was burned from options for a while on top of dealing with a hellish semester. I was going into a few rare earth mineral and nuclear investments like CCJ, USAR, UUUU, LYSDY, but were largely canceled out by some bad holdover investments like GRAB and OKLO. I also put much of the cash I was willing to risk into RKLB but mostly tried to make sure I didn't dip below $20k in account value again. I missed out on many of the SSD, Memory, and AMD stocks as a result of school and being wary of the entire AI sector, I hate everything associated with that industry but alas AMD and MU. You would've been so fun to participate in. I'm not going to buy into that area now though, I have a feeling the only reason it's done so well is because of my abstinence. Don't ever invest for FOMO. I did get to hop into the giant bubble that was CAR. I have never seen so many billions erased so quickly in my meager 21 years, and I got a cool $5k out of puts outta that. Looking back I would've purchased closer to expiration puts because while I like to believe in long term holdings, it's really not something I'm good at. This brought me back into options but I'm being slightly less stupid. I'm trying to attempt fewer earnings plays, and when I do they HAVE to be in the money. I've made about $11k in ITM RKLB options expiring this December and another $8k in RKLB shares. I fucking love that company. Currently looking into long term options for TMC, currently have $7500 set aside for 2028 calls for $10. It is risky but I think there's far worse investments to be made. I think I'm going to stick to space and raw materials for a while, I may get into semiconductors but I've been late to too many AI hype stocks for me to feel comfortable investing, and I'm doing well enough as it is. The lessons I've learned is to take the L when the market gives it to you. The amount of calls that have gone straight to 0 because I hopiumed myself into believing it would go up is embarrassing. As for taking profits I'm not sure I've learned anything very useful outside of sell enough to break even, then let the rest ride as long as you feel confident in its growth. I plan to sell my RKLB calls once I think the market has hit peak euphoria after the SpaceX IPO. I tend to make very short term investments that last shorter than 3 months. For example, one of my first investments was RKLB back when it was $11.30 a share. I know time in the market beats timing the market long term, but at the same time, Im a college student. I didn't have money for that kind of patience. Now that I have this much money I may consider cooling things off with the majority of it, and keep options a fun side gig instead my main strategy, I don't know yet. The most important lesson for me that I've learned is don't do this shit as your main strategy for being successful. It's important yes, but don't make this your entire existence. That kind of hyperfocus makes you irrational and kind of insane with the pressure you put on yourself to be a millionaire next month. Try to have fun and don't expect more than a 50% gain at any given time. You're a lot better at playing the game when you're having fun. And yes I say game because that's what it is to me, its not a life line. Am I worried about being addicted to gambling? Somewhat. I've never going to bet on any polymarket or outcomes gambling, so thankfully I'm not going off the deep end. I'm a little more risk tolerant than what I probably should be, but I've learned to take the fucking L. It will save you so much grief and shame. The market is dumb, but don't blame it on your losses. I like to believe the market is 80% psychology, some random percentage fundamentals. But that random percentage determines how much of a bull/bear market it is. This isn't financial advice, and don't take anything I say seriously. I just wanted to share with folks who share my interests and hear about how batshit insane my decisions are, because I'm not gonna deny any of that lmao. $1,300,000 Gain in 2 Weeks
2026-05-21T14:47:59+00:00
Bought $RKLB for the SpaceX IPO run-up / announcement and sold everything yesterday. 1.3 Million total gain on the trade in about 2 weeks. For people asking about Virgin Galactic, the other stock I made a post about, I’m still in my position and holding it for the SpaceX IPO day. Apparently you’re not allowed to post the ticker here because the market cap is too low and it gets automatically removed by mods if you do. That said, I think it helps that the ticker is super close to the SpaceX ticker, and I think the move will start on IPO day. I remember during the GameStop frenzy in January 2021, some stock with a similar ticker went up like 300% or something in a day. submitted by /u/crazyfool319 [link] [comments]

(Ja, ich hab Sex geschrieben, hihi) submitted by /u/hertha611 [link] [comments]

RKLB Long Position and Discussion
2026-05-16T23:23:19+00:00
https://preview.redd.it/v2uj255zzk1h1.png?width=1170&format=png&auto=webp&s=ba927abcdaff81df1fda421a93c29c82468ad3e3 Disclaimer: I consider Rocket Lab to be a long-term, fundamental holding for my portfolio. Although my initial position was small, it will be something that I continue to add to when market sentiment causes dips. I am not providing investment advice and solely sharing my personal opinions on a company that I own. Discussion & Thoughts: With the SpaceX IPO on the horizon, I wanted to share some of my thoughts on Rocket Lab as an investment. As someone who was watching the initial liftoff in the commercial space economy (ASTS, PL, MDA, etc.), I always viewed Rocket Lab as a winner. For starters, Peter Beck is exactly what I look for in a founder and CEO. Curiosity, detail-oriented, absence of ego, consistent presence. In an industry where you have to get everything right, Peter Beck has seemingly cracked the code of consistently (If you haven't watched Wild Wild Space , I highly encourage you to do so). Supporting Peter Beck is Adam Spice as CFO, someone I have spoken to on more than one occasion and come away impressed. Level-headed, goal-oriented, pragmatic. In addition to quality leadership and management, Rocket Lab has seemingly cornered the small payload launch vehicle market. Electron has been shockingly consistent and the rollout of Neutron will allow RKLB to garner end-customers with higher payload requirements (think Falcon-9). While Neutron development has taken longer than initially anticipated, I think that the attention to detail that RKLB requires will ensure that when it is available, it is completely ready to go. Neutron will allow them to service almost all customers in the commercial launch space regardless of payload capacity (minus maybe ASTS). RKLB also has satellite and satellite component manufacturing capacity. Through strategic acquisitions, management has acquired valuable assets for pennies on the dollar. Whether it is manufacturing NASA satellites or working with companies like Varda, RKLB can play at every point in the Space economy. In other words, they seem to be a truly end-to-end company. In terms of valuation, it has certainly risen to new highs. However, when you consider that SpaceX is looking at 1.75T and assume conservatively that launch is roughly 25-30% of this value, RKLB still looks like a bargain. Do they still need to be profitable? Yes. Do I think they can do it? Yes. submitted by /u/manhattan-ice [link] [comments]

Portfolio advice
2026-05-16T12:27:47+00:00
Hey everyone, I’ve been building a high-conviction portfolio focused heavily on the physical and computing layers of AI infrastructure. I’m strictly long-term and don't care about short-term volatility, but I’d love to get some brutal feedback on my allocations. Here is my current breakdown: • Nebius Group (NBIS): Bought at $83.46 (currently $219.94). Holding about 99 shares . Up +164.53% . • Micron Technology (MU): Bought at $267.70 (currently $724.38). Holding 14.6 shares . Up +169.76% . • Vertiv Holdings (VRT): Bought at €90.17 (currently €319.15). Holding 20 shares . Up +253.94% . • Alphabet (GOOGL): Bought at $172.23 (currently $396.74). Holding 15.5 shares . Up +119.94% . • Broadcom (AVGO): Bought at $217.18 (currently $425.65). Holding 12.9 shares . Up +89.12% . • Rocket Lab (RKLB): Bought at $47.48 (currently $124.74). Holding 43 shares . Up +161.22% . • TSMC (TSM): Bought at $165.69 (currently $404.50). Holding 10.3 ADRs . Up +141.31% . • Amazon (AMZN): Bought at $198.53 (currently $264.20). Holding 15.5 shares . Up +25.34% . • Meta Platforms (META): Bought at $562.99 (currently $614.46). Holding 6 shares . Up +5.05% . Am I dangerously over-concentrated in one sector, or is this specific infrastructure play the smartest way to exploit the secular AI trend? Let me know your thoughts or where you think I’m blind. Roast my portfolio. Anyone have tips on more stocks to follow i’d also like to hear it! submitted by /u/Charming-Inflation43 [link] [comments]

$NBIS the most misunderstood AI company, and also the next AI company to go to the moon
2026-05-15T00:26:45+00:00
Since my last post on $RKLB, it has doubled. https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/s/W9CJ0XQHsw Today I present to you, yet another found led AI company that is completely being ignored by the market. $NBIS Earlier this week, Nebius printed Q1 2026 before the open. The stock is up roughly 30 percent since, and I believe this is about to run for weeks like all the other AI companies after posting hot earnings (think $MU $SNDK $NVDA), Revenue grew 684 percent year over year. Annualized run rate for the core AI cloud business reached $1.9 billion. With over 9 billion cash on hand, 30 billion in deals from $META and more earned in the Last 3 months https://www.ctvnews.ca/business/article/nebius-signs-ai-infrastructure-deals-with-meta-worth-up-to-us27-billion-over-5-years/ This company is completely undiscovered and untouched (until this week, and I believe people will fomo in once they realize what $NBIS actually is) This isn’t some shitty data center stock like Corewave $CRWV or $IREN This is AI training factory that is TOP notch, with their clickhouse software being used on OpenAi and more Not to mention we have top notch management, with our ceo being the founder of a large company in Russia until he was kicked out for speaking out against the war. He then started his company Nebius AI P/E ratio is 80 which is not terrible, but does not include their tens of billions of revenue coming in the next 5 years via contract. TLDR: Stock was misunderstood by most, is a leading AI training company used by OpenAi, Meta and more, people are now realizing that after their latest earnings and I think it’s gonna have a huge explosion up in the next few weeks like the other AI companies ($SNDK $MU ETC) even the chart is mid breakout. Sold covered calls on RKLB before earnings. Feeling sick.
2026-05-14T19:25:43+00:00
Been holding since $6. Thought I’d collect some premium, sold 2 calls at $95 strike last week for $388. Felt smart at the time and was happy to sell at $95. Then earnings dropped and this thing went on a run I was not expecting at all. 200 shares getting called away at $95 Friday while the stock is around $130 trending up. Still walking away with really good profit on those so I guess I shouldn’t complain. But man it stings knowing the money I’m leaving on the table. Feels like someone is driving your car away I still have more shares uncovered so at least those are along for the ride. Should I roll out and up to September @ $115 for a small credit? submitted by /u/kam_redditor [link] [comments]

AMD, FLNC, and RKLB. Thoughts?
2026-05-12T16:33:47+00:00
I’ve been spending a lot of time re evaluating my long term growth strategy and I’ve finally narrowed my high conviction plays down to three specific tickers that I plan on holding for at least the next decade. First is AMD because even with the insane run we've seen, I truly believe Lisa Su is just hitting her stride in the AI data center space and as long as they keep executing on the MI400 roadmap, they remain the only legitimate alternative to Nvidia’s monopoly. Then there’s FLNC which I feel is a massive sleeper hit for the global energy transition because you simply cannot have a renewable grid without utility scale storage and Fluence is consistently proving they are the gold standard in that sector. Lastly, I’m betting big on RKLB because while SpaceX gets all the mainstream headlines, Rocket Lab is quietly building a vertically integrated space empire and their progress with Neutron is going to make them a dominant force in the launch and space systems market very soon. I know this isn't a "safe" Boglehead approach but the combined growth potential in AI compute, energy storage, and commercial space is just too massive for me to ignore. I’m curious to see if anyone else is rocking this specific trio or if you think there’s a more explosive mix for a 10 year horizon? submitted by /u/conorfay [link] [comments]

should Jr.Burry load up $TSLA puts ?
2026-05-11T06:48:56+00:00
I’m the infamous bear loaded up on $SOXX puts, $SOXL shorts and $RKLB puts. Similar to these I am looking to load up on $TSLA puts if the stock keeps rising in the coming week. AI has achieved nothing in the real world other than spitting out code. All the dreams of automating end to end workflows in legal, financial and medical fields are still pipe dreams. I’ve seen how Fortune 500 operate with these AI models and for a majority of them it’s just enabling their tech teams with GitHub copilot or Claude code and they call themselves AI native. They don’t have a clue of building something productive out of these other than chatbots. Something that people don’t understand about the predictive nature of these AI models is that IT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR THEM TO BE 99% CORRECT EVEN IF THEY CAN GET THERE. Much of the corporate workflows need 100% accuracy for them to be right. Otherwise there’s still human in the loop trying to make up for downside. This is the prime reason I’m short the semis. Sooner or later these firms(openAI/Anthropic) will be scrutinized for the ROI and unfortunately there’s not going to be any other than coding assistants. Now coming back to $TSLA, Elon promised driverless robotaxis on road by end of 2025. It’s almost H1 2026 and robotaxis are no where to be seen. I’ve found a few with drivers within them doing testing though. Having said that I don’t think they’re in a position to launch fully driverless taxis anytime soon. The stock has been up due to the semi rally overall and nothing else. I will wait till stock hits $480 and go all in on the puts. RKLB position

I have a smallish position in RKLB of 203 shares with $4 average and this boom threw me off balance with RKLB now at 60% of my portfolio. If you have a small portfolio, what do you do when your shares explode? Logically I understand the smart thing to do is to sell at least half (its all in Roth) , freeze gains and invest in ETF (my main core). But I am having so much trouble :) mainly because I hold tiny positions in stocks and never experienced such gains. ETF gains are easier to ignore. If you are a relatively small investor, how do you determine when to let it go? Or do you? submitted by /u/Salty_Pressure_2499 [link] [comments]

Hit 100k for the first time thanks to RKLB
2026-05-08T14:49:09+00:00
When I hit 50k for the first time a couple months ago, I set a goal to reach 100k before I turned 25. Thanks to Sir Peter Beck and his phenomenal hair, I reached that goal with less than a month to go. When I posted a while back celebrating finally getting my portfolio to green all time, there were a lot of people telling me I was bound to lose it all. I only have one thing to say to them: Fuckers in school telling me, always in the barber shop Chief Keef ain’t bout this, Chief Keef ain’t bout that My boy a BD on fucking Lamron and them He, he they say that regard don’t be putting in no work SHUT THE FUCK UP! Y'all regards ain’t know shit All ya motherfuckers talk about Chief Keef ain’t no hitta Chief Keef ain’t this Chief Keef a fake SHUT THE FUCK UP Y'all don’t live with that regard Y'all know that regard got caught with a ratchet Shootin' at the police and shit Regard been on probation since fuckin, I don’t know when! Motherfuckers stop fuckin' playin' him like that Them regards savages out there If I catch another motherfucker talking sweet about Chief Keef I’m fucking beating they ass! I’m not fucking playing no more You know those regards roll with Lil' Reese and them submitted by /u/photosynthescythe [link] [comments]

Rocket Lab Q1 earnings call ist ausgerastet
2026-05-08T04:58:21+00:00

Is Rocket Lab Becoming More Than Just Another Space Stock?
2026-05-08T03:51:05+00:00
https://www.ebc.com/forex/rocket-lab-stock-rebounds-after-hours-why-rklb-jumped Space is slowly becoming an infrastructure business now. Governments and private companies are pouring billions into defense, communications, surveillance, satellite networks, and data systems, and Rocket Lab is trying to position itself right in the middle of that buildout. What’s interesting is the market still can’t decide whether RKLB should trade like a speculative growth stock or a serious aerospace and defense company. The stock dropping 7% during regular hours then rebounding after earnings kind of shows that confusion in real time. A lot of people still see Rocket Lab as “just another space hype play,” but the backlog growth, launch contracts, satellite systems business, and Neutron development are starting to make the story much bigger than that. The real question now is whether execution can keep up with how fast expectations and valuations are rising. submitted by /u/ConferenceLow8960 [link] [comments]
